At the beginning of 2011 school year we started a new project aimed at helping orphanage graduates and boarding schools graduates from dysfunctional families.

On May 31, 2011 a meeting of Dmitrov boarding school Trustees was held. Our Director Nickolay Belonogov is a member of the Board. At the meeting Nickolay suggested that the Board establish an employment assistance center for boarding school graduates based at our stART center. V. Gavrilov, the head of Dmitrov Region and the chairman of the Board of Trustees and T.Y. Dovzhenko, who is also the head of Dmitrov Region Education Department supported the idea and promised to assist in its implementation.

The amount of work in this project will increase together with the number of graduates. Therefore we need to appoint a special position for this job. However, our centre has not found the means yet.

However, as they say – “a journey of thousand miles begins with a single step”. Initially we will try to set up these few web-pages so that everyone can easily understand how to help these children.

We believe the main goal is to help them find their place in life. It is not just a matter of helping them find employment. It is important to establish them in a new circle of contacts, help them find an interesting hobby and to show non-criminal ways of earning extra income. We are making steps to accomplish all this at our Center classes and during sightseeing tours.
